My PastIn high school, I fractured my back and began due to having to take many medicines, I developed IBS. In efforts to rid myself of discomfort, I began to eliminate foods from my diet. This was the start of my unhealthy relationship with foods. Fast-forward to freshman year of college, restriction along with over exercising, led to drastic weight loss praised by many due to my seemingly healthy lifestyle and dedication to my regime. What they did not see is the inner turmoil and the destruction I was causing my body. This "healthy lifestyle" led to something I like to call my journey to hell and back- eating disorder recovery. .
